Approx half of all flat tyres caused by a puncture can be repaired safely and without too much expense or even the need for a replacement tyre. The most important thing that you can do to help the chances of your puncture being repairable is to not drive on it when it is flat - driving for even a few hundred metres on a flat tyre can damage it and make it un-repairable. Putting your spare tyre on and visiting your nearest garage can save you the cost of a new tyre.

Tyre repair is a highly technical process that is covered by the British Standard that has strict guidelines on how and when a tyre can be repaired.

Our tyre repair service is well known throughout the Malton area and beyond. Over the years we have repaired literally thousands of punctures and damaged tyres. We repair all types of tyres, and whether you require a simple puncture repair or a more specialist fix you will find our courteous and capable staff more than up to the job. We also have an on-site facility for hot cure vulcanised repairs, which can be used, for example, to safely repair thorn holes in tyre shoulders. This process takes a little longer than a straightforward puncture repair, so you will need to leave the affected tyre with us for half a day.

If there is any doubt as to whether a tyre should or should not be repaired, we will not repair it and advise you of the safety concerns and reasoning behind this.
